Like other countries we’ve worked with, the Philippines has a rich weaving heritage that’s deeply rooted in its history. For many women, weaving is a means to earn a living. Through this unique collection handmade by Artisans, we honor the craft, community, and people of the Philippines.
Handmade By Filipino Artisans
As we work with new Artisans from around the world, our mission remains the same– to preserve heritage and honor cultural art. Each handbag and accessory from the Philippines is created by Artisans who use traditional designs and techniques native to their homeland. From the design process to the photoshoot, everything was created in Philippines. Your purchase is providing sustainable work for these women.
The Narra Capsule in Diamond Weave
This collection features upcycled deadstock fabric, also known as pre-consumer waste, that’s knotted together and then woven using a wooden frame. After the textile is created, the Artisans construct the bag into a hobo silhouette with brushed brass hardware, Artisan liner, and vegan leather landings.
