Bethany Yellowtail  is a citizen of the Northern Cheyenne Nation, and proudly hails from the Mighty Few District of the Apsáalooke (Crow) Nation. A 2009 graduate of the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising, she founded her label in 2015 upon leaving a career in corporate fashion. Driven by the desire to see herself and her communities authentically and equitably represented in mainstream fashion, B.YELLOWTAIL has become a leading voice. Bethany’s artistic vision and work is irremovable from her vision for her community. She is an active organizer in her Tribal nations and is passionate about using fashion as a tool to uplift Women and young girls, and to support MMIWG  preventative resources.

Ali has long admired Bethany’s design artistry and her deep reverence for heritage and symbolic meanings. This collaboration is a heartfelt journey, focused on weaving shared meanings from one Indigenous culture to another, discovering the beautiful common threads that unite them. It also honors the incredible skill and craftsmanship of Nena & Co.'s Guatemalan weavers, whose hands brought this vision to life, blending tradition and artistry into every piece.
